Taglit-Birthright Israel provides the gift of first time, peer group, educational trips to Israel for Jewish young adults ages 18 to 26.

A few additional reasons for wanting to go on a free trip to Israel:
the Dead Sea, camels, gorgeous architecture, hummus and falafel, cultural immersion, fun times with friends from UChicago and beyond - and did we mention free??

Engage in open dialogue on Israeli sights, culture, history and politics (it is a politically-unbiased trip, but students of all political orientations are encouraged to apply!)  No religious agenda.
