Taglit-Birthright Israel provides the gift of first time, peer group, educational trips to Israel for Jewish young adults ages 18 to 26. In the past two years, UChicago’s Newberger Hillel has brought over 80 students to Israel, designing our trip to have a unique UChicago twist as we engage our students in dialogue about Israeli sights, culture, history and politics. See the sights. Eat the food. Meet the people. Pay nothing.
We are taking 40 U of C students to Israel this August! Our next trip is tentatively set for late August 2011. To sign up next year, visit www.freeisraeltrip.org We stress however, that you DON’T wait too long to sign up because these seats go fast!
