Shabbat dinners are a time for students to spend some relaxed time enjoying each other’s company and a good meal in a warm and comfortable environment. Our Shabbat dinners have nearly tripled in size over the past three years as word gets out that they’re place to be on a Friday night. Several times each quarter we are joined by faculty or community members who then speak after dinner. Shabbat dinners are always free because we don’t want cost to be an obstacle for students to exploring and enjoying their heritage or just socializing with others doing the same. $1,800 will sponsor one full Shabbat dinner for 100 students.
